Home runs in recent years have been a staple of the Milwaukee Brewers and last night they used it very efficiently in a 3-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Prince Fielder and Corey Hart both went deep and Braden Looper pitched a good game for the Brewers, while Trevor Hoffman notched his 12th save of the season. He has not allowed a run in 14 apperances so far this year.

Braden Looper took the mound with a heavy hard as he attended the funeral of his grandfather LaVerne Looper who basicallly help him get his start in baseball. Looper made his grandfather proud with the pitching performance last night against the Reds. Hoffman gave looper the game ball after the game which was a nice gesture. The Brewers bats again did not do a lot as they only came away with three hits. Lucky for Brewer fans two of the hits were home runs and that was enough to get the win.
