Brewers Get Crushed By Marlins 10-3

It seems the Florida Marlins have the Brewers number so far in this series and last night was just another indication of it. Manny Parra strikes out the side in the first inning for the Brewers then has no idea where the plate is rest of the night. In total Parra gives up 10 runs on 11 hits in just four innings of work. Pretty bad no matter how you look at it. The Brewers bats did not do much again last night as for the most part Marlins pitchers held the Brewers hitters in check in the 10-3 thumping.

This is one of those games that you want to try and put behind you as nothing that great happen to really talk about. In other news the Brewers released Jorge Julio who has struggled lately. They recalled Mike Burns from Triple AAA to take his place on the roster. David Riske underwent reconstructive surgery on his right elbow and will be lost for the year. The Brewers were counting on Riske to be a big part of the bullpen. It looks like the Brewers may have to make a trade for some relief help unless they can find someone to step up. Starting pitching is also something they may also want to take a hard look at.
