Trevor Hoffman had planned to take his kids on a fishing trip, but those plans were changed as he is now a National League All-Star. When Jonathan Broxton had to pull out of the All-Star game Hoffman got the call and his kids were excited about going to the All-Star game as well.
Personally I thought Hoffman should have been on the roster all along. Hopefully this is not just a courtesy call and he will get in the game as he deserves it. He has had a good year so far and it would be a waste to go and not get in the game.
