The Milwaukee Brewers had chances to take the series with the Cincinnati Reds, but the bullpen failed in a 5-3 loss in Cincinnati. This means the Brewers split the series and could have won three out of four games.  When you have opportunities to win games you must seize them or down the line it will continue to happen to you.

Yovani Gallardo for The Brewers gave them six good innings giving up three earned runs on seven hits. Seth McClung was suppose to come in and close the door for the Brewers and did not. In two innings he gave up two runs and took loss for the Brewers. Games like this the Brewers bullpen needs to step up and win.

Prince Fielder continued to hit the ball well as he added another home run and two RBI’s along with a 3 for 4 day. Jason Kendall went 2 for 4, but after that the Brewers did not get much production at all.  Next up for the Brewers is they travel to Pittsburgh. This is a series they need to win against a team that they should beat.
