Brewers Get One-Hit By Carpenter Lose 3-0

On Labor day many Americans celebrate by taking in a baseball game or just sitting outside in the backyard with family and friends. If you took in a ballgame yesterday and it was at Miller Park you saw a gem pitched against your Brewers. Chris Carpenter one-hit the Milwaukee Brewers as the Cardinals continued their dominance with a 3-0 Labor Day win over the Brewers.

Dave Bush started for the Brewers and went 7.0 innings giving up just two earned runs on normal days would be enough to win most games. For Dave Bush though it was another loss as the Brewers could only manage one hit all day and that was by Jody Gerut. It seems the Cardinals have the Brewers number this year and with the pitching the Cardinals have, it makes it tough to beat them.  Toss in Albert Pujols most likely the N.L. MVP this year and you will find it tough going against the Cardinals. Hopefully, today the Brewers can manage more then one hot against John Smoltz.
