Corey Hart did not think he had much of a chance to win his arbitration friday, but he was surprised as he came out on top. The Brewers tried to avoid this outcome, but last ditch negotiations fell through. With Hart’s win he will now get 4.8 million dollars and can look forward to the 2010 baseball season.
Hart was injured part of the 2009 season and is looking to make up for lost time. Corey Hart had to deal with that his name came up in trade rumors as well. The Brewers almost had a clean slate this off-season as they were able to avoid arbitration on almost every player except Hart.
