Breaking News: K-Rod, Cash Comes to Milwaukee

No rest for the weary Milwaukee fans. In a late night deal (immediately after the All-Star Game), officials from the New York Mets sent word that closer Fransisco Rodriguez was being dealt to Milwaukee, along with cash considerations in exchange for two players to be named later. ESPN has reported that details will follow in a conference call Wednesday to confirm the trade.

K-Rod pitched for the Angels from 2002 until 2008 when he signed with the New York Mets. He has been instrumental for both teams. This season he has 23 saves, 46 strikeouts and a 3.16 ERA. We will have more information about this as soon as we can, but for now welcome to Milwaukee K-Rod. I hope you like setting up for the Ax.
