Well, I may have been jumping the gun a bit on Maldonado after just one year, but I've liked what we've seen out of him. If anything ever happens to Lucroy again, I'd feel more comfortable with Maldonado behind the plate. Well, I may have been jumping the gun a bit on Maldonado after just one year, but I’ve liked what we’ve seen out of him. If anything ever happens to Lucroy again, I’d feel more comfortable with Maldonado behind the plate. As for Hart, it’s not that I’d exactly want to get rid of him, but it’s interesting to see how the market would play out for any of these players.

Maldonado has an OPS+ of 97 and Hart has been around 130 the last few years. With Harts salary and injury history I'm not sure we'd see a lot of value back for him.
