Thank you for your thoughtful reply; my bad on the real estate. As a longtime Brewer fan, back to the early 80's, I never have believed that Braun was innocent. Like the long list of fallen icons, i.e. Clinton, Nixon, Bonds, etc. (ad nauseum), the real crime is not in the action, but in the cover-up. Nay, let's stop calling it the cover-up and call it what it is, bald faced lies. In Braun's case, letting an innocent man go down the tubes for the sake of his own skin. This brings shame on him, his family, his team, the Great City of Milwaukee, ad infinitum. Where it really doesn't bring shame is on the sport of baseball, which is so damaged as to be beyond salvation. Let's just lift ANY restriction on the type or amount of drugs that baseball players can self-administer, as has been suggested. They'll be no shortage of players, I assure you. Should be a lot of fun to watch. I do feel bad for the kids though. That damage has already been done though.

First - thanks for reading. Second - the members of the print media are traditionally referred to as the 'Fourth Estate.' Third - the loss of innocence isn't what concerns me, it's the fact that many are pretending to have any sense of it now - as if people doing performance enhancing drugs are some fresh hell that came straight out of left field.

I thank you again for reading, and I'm sorry we couldn't give you something more for your time.

Anybody have any idea what this mud hen is talking about? I gather he's saying something about the obsolete field of journalism, now simply referred to as writing, and lamenting the loss of innocence, and integrity, that the 'third estate' formerly enjoyed. Give me a break.
