The Mets are in a bind alright. I’m sorry, but the Mets need to play more consistently in order to warrant any major moves. And if the current cast can’t stop squeezing four games over .500, then perhaps our questions about 2012 are answered. I have a belief – no major league service before you pitch at least 300 innings in the minors first. I do not want Sandy Alderson to blow up the plan.
