The National League Central remains the best in all of baseball. While two teams are out all but out of the race already, the competition is still fierce. Here is a look at the power rankings in the division after 10 weeks.

5. Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers have played much better as of late, but it has not been enough to move them out of the bottom of the power rankings. This week saw a series win against the Pittsburgh Pirates, a series split against the Washington Nationals and the debut of Taylor Jungmann. Buried 18 games back in the division, young pitchers and the fire-sale look to be the biggest things to watch over the next few months.

This week the Brewers will begin with a four game home and away series with the Kansas City Royals and then finish with a three game match-up against the Colorado Rockies.

4. Cincinnati Reds

The Reds have seen a monster season from Joey Votto this year, but things have not gone much better in Cincinnati than in Milwaukee. This week they swept the Phillies to start the week and lost two of their first three against the Chicago Cubs. Like in Milwaukee, one of the biggest things to watch will be what they decide to do with pitchers like Johnny Cueto and Mike Leake.

This week the Reds begin a tough four game home and away series with the Detroit Tigers, before finishing the week with a three game series against the disappointing Miami Marlins.

3. Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs are right where they had hoped at the start of the season. Currently in position for a wild card spot, the turnaround is in full swing. With Anthony Rizzo playing like an MVP and their young players thriving the team is holding strong at the top of the NL Central.

The Cubs will get a taste of the AL Central this week as they take on the Indians in a four game home and away match-up before traveling to Minnesota to take on Byron Buxton and the Twins.

2. Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pirates remain one of the best teams in baseball behind Gerrit Cole who is becoming one of the best pitchers in the game today. After losing a hard fought series to the Brewers the Pirates battled back to sweep the Phillies on the weekend.

The Pirates will battle the White Sox for four to start the week before finishing the weekend with a three game series in Washington.

1. St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals keep losing bodies, yet they remain in the same spot atop the division. After losing two of three to the Rockies to start the week, they finished with winning two games in Kansas City.

This week they will battle the Twins for four and then take on the lowly Phillies to close out the week.
