The last update saw the Milwaukee Brewers High A affiliate, the Brevard County Manatees, have their best week of the season.  Since then, they have gone 5-6, which is actually a decent improvement from their first month of games.  Let’s take a look at their latest slate of games:

5/15 at Dunedin: W 5-4

Kodi Medeiros started the game before being taken out due to injury.  As I’m writing this there is still no word on what it was.  Kender Villegas took over for him and pitched 4 innings of 3 run ball.  RF Omar Garcia and LF Brandon Diaz each went 2-4.

After a strong week Johnny Davis now has the highest batting average on the team at .293.  Brandon Woodruff is continuing his strong season and is now 4-1 with a 1.83 ERA through 8 starts.  The Manatees don’t have a day off for another two weeks and will look to continue to put together some good stretches of games.
