In his first game back from taking a nasty spill at second base on Sunday, Jean Segura ripped a double against Chicago Cubs starter Travis Wood that scored speedy Carlos Gomez from first base. His second inning double gave the Milwaukee Brewers a 1-0 lead.

Segura, whom I predicted to hit around .280 this season, is now batting .455 with a home run and three runs batted in. He has showed no signs of slowing down after his red-hot spring. He looks more like a No. 2 hitter than a bottom of the order type of guy.
If the 23-year-old keeps swinging the way he has been, the Brewers will be the clear winner in the deal that sent Zack Greinke to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for Segura.
