Will Ryan Braun Go To Another All-Star Game?

When Co-Editor Benjamin Orr  predicted Ryan Braun would make the All-Star game in 2014, it got me thinking. Braun is an admitted PED-user and a notorious liar. Fans (including those in Milwaukee) hate him. So even if Braun puts up monster numbers and undoubtedly deserves an All-Star Game nod, why would the fans show him love and vote for him?

Why should they give him the respect he failed to show?

The popularity contest that is the All-Star Game is ridiculous, but that’s a whole new can of worms. Since the power is given to the fans, I don’t believe we will ever see Braun in another All-Star game. Do you?

I don’t hate Ryan Braun at all. I don’t think I ever did or will. Am I disappointed and upset with him? Of course, I think nearly everybody is and was. There’s no denying his talent and those that do are just fooling themselves into a false sense of justice for baseball. What’s happened is over and done with, time to move on from it and I think him getting into the All-Star game next season would help the healing. After all, Jhonny Peralta snagged a nice deal with the Cardinals, so if we’re taught that cheaters don’t win, why do they still get rewarded in the end?

I don’t hate Braun. I just don’t respect him right now.

Yeah, I think that’s the case with a lot us, myself included.
