Brewers Bullpen Let’s Another One Slip Away As Dodgers rally

If The Milwaukee Brewers hope to do anything this year they better make some adjustments after the all-star break, because what they are doing right now is not working. Trevor Hoffman blew his second save of the year and the rest of the bullpen look pathetic in a 12-8 Brewers loss in 10 innings.  The Brewers bullpen has logged a lot of innings in the first half of the season and maybe that has something to do with it, but you cannot continue to lose games this way.

Braden Looper started for the Brewers and pitched six innings giving up five hits and five earned runs. He also gave up four home runs as well. As for the bullpen they came in and pitched a total of four innings and gave up seven runs which killed the Brewers last night. Offensively the Brewers scored more than enough to win this game if the bullpen had not blown it. Mat Gamel, J.J. Hardy both hit home runs and the Brewers as a team hit the ball well. Personally I can’t wait for the All-Star Break to get here as the Brewers need it. They are not playing well and maybe some days off will clear their heads and better performances in the second half.
