Brewers Bounce Back By Beating Dodgers 6-3

Friday night the Brewers bullpen could not get anyone out it seem, but Saturday night was a different story. The Brewers got a good pitching performance from Mike Burns and the bullpen shut the door this time for a 6-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. This was a great win for the Brewers especially after the loss on friday night.

Mike Burns pitched five innings giving up six hits and three earned runs while striking out seven, but did give up two home runs as well. The bullpen came in and shut the door giving up just two hits over four innings. Trevor Hoffman who blew a save on Friday night came back and picked up his 20th save.

J.J. Hardy, Craig Counsell, and Prince Fielder all had two hits a piece as the Brewers pounded out nine hits, but every one was important. Even Mike Burns the pitcher got a hit and it drove in a run as well. J.J. Hardy lately seems to be coming around which the Brewers need. Corey Hart is another guy the Brewers need to start hitting as well.  Good win for the Brewers and Yovani Gallardo takes the mound for the Brewers today. A win before the all-star break could be huge for the Brewers.
