Brewers End Season On Winning Note With 9-7 Win

The Milwaukee Brewers ended the season on a winning note with a 9-7 win over the Cardinals in extra innings.  For Brewers fans the season comes to a end with the Brewers finishing up 80-82. A far cry from what everyone expected, but that’s the way it works. Many positive notes though such as Fielder hitting 46 home runs and tying for the RBI Crown. Ryan Braun got 200 hits in a season and Trevor Hoffman was very good. Some other guys stepped in and played well so I guess we will have to see what next season brings the Brewers. Back to the game though.

Jeff Suppan started the game and went 2.0 innings giving up one earned run. The bullpen came in and finished up with Trevor Hoffman getting the win. Towards the end the bullpen did pitch much better so I guess a positive we can take from it.  Prince Fielder ended the game on a high note with a two home run performance and three RBI’s.  Ryan Braun added two hits as well for the Brewers who played well in this series and a good ending to a disappointing season.
