Brewers Fans, Vote for Ryan Braun for MLB 13: The Show

As you probably already know, Ryan Braun wants and needs your support! How you may ask? Well, as Braun has said himself, he wants to be truly recognized despite all his achievements thus far in his career. Braun has some tough competition in guys like Buster Posey, Matt Kemp and Miguel Cabrera, but I know you Brewer faithful can definitely help Braun become the cover athlete for the next installment in the popular MLB: The Show series.

For those of you who may have forgotten, let me just refresh you of Braun’s 2012. This past year, Braun came second in the NL MVP voting just a year after winning the award himself. He had one monster season, having a .319/.391/.595 slash line alongside 41 home runs, 112 RBIs, 108 runs scored, 30 stolen bases, and had a WAR of 7.9. For the second year in a row, Braun made the 30-30 club, with having 30 or more stolen bases and home runs. He also had an incredible BABIP (basically, non-home run hits) of .346, which was the third highest in his career.

Braun also got voted into his fifth All-Star game in 2012 and got the game going in the first with a two-RBI double off of Justin Verlander. Now the 2011 MVP, five-time All-Star, 2007 Rookie of the Year and five-time Silver Slugger winner is calling for your help now. Braun’s been a pretty tremendous player in Milwaukee and it’d be hard to say that he would be dissatisfied with his career. However, Braun has a new goal, win the voting to be the cover athlete on MLB 13: The Show.

Even if you don’t have a have PlayStation 3, make sure to still vote for him. This would be a tremendous honor for Ryan and the state of Wisconsin in general. Brewers’ fans, you can make it happen!
