The Saguaros were on the wrong end of a 9-4 game yesterday against the Solar Sox. Will Roberts (Cleveland Indians) made the start for the Saguaros and was blasted, receiving his second loss. Roberts lasted only three innings and was tagged for eight runs on 10 hits, no walks and struck out three.

Out of the Saguaros’ bullpen, two of the Milwaukee Brewers’ prospects were busy. Tyler Cravy surrendered one unearned run in two innings while David Goforth pitched a perfect inning in the ninth.

For the Solar Sox, Matt Purke made the start and picked up his third win. Purke pitched four innings and gave up two runs on five hits, two walks and struck out three. Reliever Jeff Urlaub surrendered two runs in an inning pitched during the ninth on three hits and one strikeout.

Offense wise, the Saguaros were limited to just four runs on nine hits. Left fielder Henry Urrutia (Baltimore Orioles) went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Catcher Jorge Alfaro (Texas Rangers) was 1-for-2 with an RBI while designated hitter Michael Ohlman (Orioles) was 1-for-4 and drove in a run. The Brewers’ Mitch Haniger did not get a hit in four at-bats and struck out twice,

Today the Saguaros have the day off before they play the Scottsdale Scorpions (10-17) on Monday afternoon as they head into the final few days of the Arizona Fall League.
