Reviewing the Brew Round-table: What We’re Thankful For

Despite the Milwaukee Brewers’ down season in 2013, we fans are still thankful that they are a part of our lives. Since it is Thanksgiving, the staff said what they are thankful for today.

David Grant:

“I am thankful for my family and that my boy will never have to see Yuniesky Betancourt in a Brewer uniform. I am thankful that despite the annual Brewer shenanigans, the Chicago Cubs always provide more comedy relief. Also, I was brought up that if I don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all. So, instead of discussing the St. Louis Cardinals I will say nothing. Happy Thanksgiving all!”

Justin Schultz:

“I am thankful that I have a family that supports me through everything. It’s nice to know that even if I find myself in a tough situation, my family is there to help me out.”

Lou Olsen:

“I am thankful that Mark Kotsay is not a Brewer. I am thankful that Mark Attanasio is not Bud Selig. I am thankful for the opportunity FanSided gave me three years ago to write about the Brewers. Lastly, I am thankful for my wife, family, and dogs ( Walter and Douglas). Oh, and I am also thankful for curse words.”

Benjamin Orr:

“I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my fellow staff writers and Major League Baseball. Without baseball, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to write and edit for such an amazing website with some of the best writers you won’t find anywhere else on the internet. Despite their year ending in May, I’m thankful for the Milwaukee Brewers because they create joy when they do well, but cause cardiac problems (I think that’s normal for most sports’ fans) when they don’t.”

That’s what we’re thankful for this Thanksgiving. How about you, what are you thankful for? Once again, we here at Reviewing the Brew would like you wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
