The Milwaukee Brewers have had plenty of luck on Mother’s Day. One of the most memorable Mother’s Day moments in all of baseball is Billy Hall’s tenth inning walk-off home run from 2006 with his mom in the stands. Overall the Brewers have the best Mother’s Day winning percentage in all of baseball. Here is a look at the Brewers match-up with the Chicago Cubs as they look to win their second series of the season.

The first two games of the series have seen plenty of excitement. On Friday the Brewers’ battled back, but came up just short in their ninth inning rally to fall 7-6. On Saturday the Brewers battled back for a gigantic offensive explosion winning 12-4. While the game featured Kris Bryant‘s first home run, the Brewers also saw a first when Jason Rogers went deep for the first time in his major league career.

While many were down on him during his cold spell, Khris Davis is currently on fire as he is continuing to prove that he is one of the most underrated power bats in the National League.

The pitching match-up will feature Matt Garza against Kyle Hendricks. While Garza has struggled this season with a 4.58 ERA he has pitched much better as of late. Though he got a loss in his last outing, he will look to build on his much improved performance. After an awesome season last year in which he went 7-2 with a 2.46 ERA, Hendricks has struggled this season. He will look to improve on his 0-1 record with a current 5.61 ERA.
