Milwaukee Brewers Minors: Carolina Mudcats win in extra innings
The Carolina Mudcats made the night exciting going extra innings, Shuckers were off and two games turned into double headers due to rain in an interesting night for Milwaukee Brewers affiliates.

Triple-A San Antonio
San Antonio Missions (15-9) vs. Iowa Cubs (14-10)
Tuesday’s game was postponed and the Missions will face off with the Cubs in a doubleheader tomorrow.
Double-A Biloxi
Biloxi Shuckers (12-13) vs. Pensacola Blue Wahoos (17-8)
The Shuckers had a rest day before starting a five game series with the Blue Wahoos.
Biloxi is currently 2-3 against Pensacola this season so far. The starting pitcher on Wednesday for the Shuckers is still to be determined, but they’ll be facing off against Sean Poppen, who has a 0.75 ERA for the Blue Wahoos this season.
Class A Advanced Carolina
Carolina Mudcats (13-10) vs. Salem Red Sox (11-14)
The Mudcats had 11 hits while the pitching staff had 13 strikeouts in a 3-2 victory in extra innings, their fourth straight win.
Ryan Aguilar was 3-5 while scoring a run and drove in the winning run in the 10th. Joantgel Segovia, who scored that run, and Eddie Silva both had two hits, including a run scoring double for Silva in the sixth. Four other Mudcats had a hit.
Carolina League Pitcher of the Week Dylan File went 5 2/3 innings, giving up two runs while striking out seven. The trio of J.T. Hintzen, Michael Petersen, and Rodrigo Benoit pitched a clean 4 1/3 innings, with six strikeouts.
As mentioned, File was named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for April 22-28. File picked up his first win of the season in a 3-1 victory over the Pelicans. He went six innings, striking out five while allowing five hits.
File, was the 21st round pick of the Brewers in the 2017 MLB Draft and this is his first year in advanced-A ball.
Class A
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (10-12) vs. Lansing Lugnuts (11-12)
The Timber Rattlers had a 6-0 lead into the top of the third before the rain came and postponed their game against the Lugnuts. The game will resume Wednesday before a seven inning game two.
