It was a two for three night for the Milwaukee Brewers affiliates down on the farm.

Triple-A San Antonio

San Antonio Missions (27-18) vs. Round Rock Express (26-18)

The six-game winning streak is no more as the Milwaukee Brewers top affiliate dropped the opener to the Express 11-4.

The pitching was nothing to brag about tonight as Thomas Jankins and Tristan Archer gave up 11 runs on 12 hits and three walks.

Offensively, David Freitas was the man as he was 3-4 with a home run, double, and two RBIs. Lucas Erceg and Nate Orf both had two-out RBIs in the ninth inning.

On Wednesday, the Missions try to start a new streak and will have a new bat in the lineup as Travis Shaw will join the Missions on his rehab assignment.

Double-A Biloxi

Biloxi Shuckers (24-21) vs. Mobile Bay Bears (18-26)

Tomorrow the Shuckers start a series against the Mobile Bay Bears

Class-A Advanced Carolina

Carolina Mudcats (28-17) vs. Lynchburg Hillcats (21-22)

Another extra inning game and another win for the Mudcats, with Carolina getting the close victory, 3-2, in 10 innings.

It was the Tristen Lutz show tonight as he was 2-5 driving in all three runs on a two-run home run in the sixth and driving in Pat McInerney to score the winning run.

Braden Webb got the start, going five innings, allowing the two runs for the Hillcats. Clayton Andrews picked up his first win of the season, going two innings to finish up the game for the Mudcats.

Class-A Wisconsin

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (19-23) vs. Peoria Chiefs (19-24)

The final score may say the Rattlers won 12-8, but the game only went 6 1/2 innings with 14 runs scored in the final inning and a half.

Chad McClanahan got the scoring going with a three run double in the first. That was promptly followed by a three run second inning, one coming in on a Brice Turang single followed immediately by a David Fry two-run home run.

Brent Diaz was 2-4 with two RBIs. He is now batting .302 in 53 at-bats. Brice Turang also went 2-4 and is batting .301 in 143 at-bats.

Logan Gillaspie got win number one with his six innings of work, allowing just four hits and two runs and four strikeouts.

In game two of the doubleheader, which ended close to the midnight hour, the Rattlers won 2-1 on a walk off single by David Fry. Fry drove in both runs for the Rattlers.

Freisis Adames, Chad Whitmer and Wilfred Salaman pitched well for the Rattlers, striking out 10 and gave up just two hits.
