By Matt Carroll

Here is your Reviewing the Brew 2022 Brewers All-Minor League Affiliate Team.
Starting Pitchers
Brandon Knarr (Wisconsin/Biloxi), Carlos Rodriguez (Carolina/Wisconsin)
Honorable mention: Alexander Cornielle (Carolina/Wisconsin), Justin Jarvis (Wisconsin/Biloxi), Caleb Boushley (Nashville)
Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Brandon Knarr turned in one of the finest starting performances in the organization in 2022. After quickly mastering High-A, he was promoted to Double-A after just 10 games. All in all, he put up a 2.83 ERA and 1.216 WHIP while making 26 starts, second most of any Brewers minor leaguer.
Just as impressive was No. 19 prospect Carlos Rodriguez. He made fewer starts (20) but put up a 3.01 ERA and 1.059 WHIP while his 10.8 strikeouts per nine innings were second highest of any Brewers minor leaguer to make at least 20 starts. He was named Milwaukee’s minor league pitcher of the year for 2022.
Alexander Cornielle had a 3.03 ERA in 22 starts and his 11.0 K/9 led Brewers minor leaguers that made at least 20 starts. Justin Jarvis led the Brewers affiliates in making 28 starts while putting up a 3.83 ERA.
Caleb Boushley was claimed off waivers by the Brewers last offseason and added to the Nashville Sounds’ roster. He ended up being arguably the best starter for the team all year, starting 25 games and compiling a 3.25 ERA and 1.170 WHIP. He also had the honor of starting Nashville’s sole playoff game this season.
