On Sunday night, the Milwaukee Brewers revealed that they were promoting their top prospect, shortstop Jesús Made, from High-A to Double-A, where he will join the Biloxi Shuckers for the final days of the 2025 season. The Shuckers are wrapping up the regular season with a six-game series against the Birmingham Barons, the Chicago White Sox' Double-A affiliate. Then, next Tuesday, the Southern League playoffs begin, and the Shuckers have a date with the Montgomery Biscuits, the Tampa Bay Rays' Double-A squad, who eliminated Biloxi in last year's postseason.
However, Made is not the only top Brewers prospect joining the Shuckers for the stretch run. As initially revealed by prospect insider Chris Clegg and later confirmed by the Shuckers themselves, the Brewers' No. 7-ranked prospect, Bishop Letson, is headed to Double-A to join Biloxi for their stretch run as well.
Per Source: The Brewers are promoting RHP Bishop Letson to Double-A Biloxi. Letson has a 1.69 ERA with a 30% strikeout rate this season in 37 A+ innings.

Brewers promote RHP Bishop Letson to Double-A for the Biloxi Shuckers' stretch run
Back in late August, Reviewing the Brew's Tyler Miller predicted that Letson could be in line for a late-season promotion after dominating High-A hitters through eight starts with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The only hold-up with Letson was the fact that injuries have prevented him from logging a full season of professional ball since he was drafted in the 11th round of the 2023 MLB Draft. However, his performance when healthy is not only enough to make him the highest-ranked Brewers pitching prospect who has yet to make their MLB debut, but it also is enough to promote him to the Double-A level before his 21st birthday.
Letson's dominance at the High-A level resulted in a 1.69 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 37.1 innings pitched. It's an impressive follow-up to his excellent 2024 campaign in which he posted a 3.13 ERA in 14 starts for the Low-A Carolina Mudcats. Across the board, Letson's numbers have improved this season; his strikeout rate is up to an impressive 30.3%, while his walk rate is down to 6.3% and his WHIP is down to 0.99.
The 20-year-old right-hander out of Floyd Central HS in Floyds Knobs, IN is set to make his Double-A debut tonight when the Shuckers take on the Barons at 7:00 p.m. CT in Birmingham, AL. Already with Made, Blake Burke, Cooper Pratt, Luke Adams, Luis Lara, and Brock Wilken on their roster, the Shuckers adding a top pitching prospect like Letson gives them a good chance to make some noise during this year's Southern League playoffs.
