The Milwaukee Brewers have a new broadcast partner for the 2026 season. After decades of relying on various regional sports networks (RSNs), including Fox Sports Wisconsin, Bally Sports Wisconsin, and most recently Fan Duel Sports Network Wisconsin, the Brewers are partnering with MLB itself to produce and distribute their broadcasts in 2026.
The Brewers aren't the first team to hand their TV rights over to the league -- the San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins had their games broadcast by MLB last season -- and they aren't the only ones to be switching over to league-produced games this year. The Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, and Cincinnati Reds are all switching from their respective RSNs to MLB this year as well. It's the next step of commissioner Rob Manfred's goal of consolidating TV rights in MLB as a method to even out the financial disparity that currently exists in the sport.
However, though Brewers fans certainly care about the long-term implications of a plan that could level the payroll playing field in baseball, the more pressing matter is how they will be able to watch the games in 2026. Just moments ago, the Brewers released their new plan for non-cable users under their new partnership with MLB.

Brewers announce "Brewers.TV," a new streaming platform available for $99.99 for the 2026 season
For cable users, the change in broadcaster shouldn't change your ability to access Brewers games in 2026. The only change is that the channel on which the Brewers will appear will likely be different than in years past. Stay tuned for more information on what those specific channel numbers will be -- cable providers should be releasing that information shortly.
For non-cable users -- those Brewer fans who signed up for Fan Duel Sports Network's streaming app last season (and Bally Sports' iteration the season prior) -- the Brewers just announced how you will be able to watch games in 2026. For $99.99 in-market fans (essentially anyone who lives in Wisconsin) can now purchase a "Brewers.TV" subscription through the MLB App, which is available on smart devices, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, etc. More information and a very helpful FAQ can be found at the link below.
How to Watch Brewers Broadcasts
According to Brewers.com, out-of-market fans will have to continue purchasing MLB.TV for $149.99 to stream Brewers games in 2026. In other words, the "Brewers-only" $99.99 deal is not available to out-of-market fans who have access to Brewers games without blackouts on their current MLB.TV subscriptions.
It can be a confusing process, but it boils down to this: cable users' lives remain unchanged (only the channel on which the Brewers appear will change). In-market non-cable users can purchase Brewers.TV through the MLB app for $99.99 or Brewers.TV+MLB.TV (to watch all MLB games) for $199.99. Out-of-market Brewers fans only have the option of purchasing MLB.TV (which will include all MLB games other than the ones that are blacked out in whatever TV market you are in) for $149.99.
