They did it. They finally did it. The Milwaukee Brewers have won the World Series.
Cheers, Brewers fans. Cheers to the greatest team in franchise history and one of the most dominant postseason runs of all time.
Cheers to Pat Murphy, the coaching staff, and the 26 players who brought home the franchise's first World Series title. And cheers to the other 32 players who played a role in the Brewers' remarkable 2026 season.
Cheers to Matt Arnold and the Brewers' front office, who constantly went against the grain and built a World Series roster in the smallest market in baseball. Cheers to David Stearns, who laid the foundation for the Brewers' ongoing success, to Doug Melvin, who brought postseason baseball back to Milwaukee back in 2008, and to the great Harry Dalton, who constructed the famous 1982 team.

Remembering Brewers of the past (and present) as confetti falls on World Series win
Cheers to the Brewers teams of years past. To the great Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Cecil Cooper, Pete Vuckovich, and the entire 1982 team, who constantly supported the Brewers in their quest for the franchise's first World Series title. To Dave Parker, Greg Vaughn, Pat Listach, B.J. Surhoff, John Jaha, Dave Nilsson, Jeromy Burnitz, Geoff Jenkins, and Richie Sexson, who offered bright spots in an otherwise dark time for the franchise in the 1990s and early 2000s. Cheers to Ben Sheets, J.J. Hardy, Rickie Weeks, Bill Hall, Prince Fielder, Corey Hart, and, of course, CC Sabathia for returning the Brewers to the postseason in 2008. Cheers to John Axford, Zack Greinke, Nyjer Morgan, Yovani Gallardo, and the entire 2011 team for returning to the League Championship Series for the first time since 1982. Cheers to Lorenzo Cain, Jesús Aguilar, Jhoulys Chacín, Josh Hader, Corey Knebel, Travis Shaw, Mike Moustakas, and the 2018 squad for kicking off what has become the Golden Age of Brewers baseball. And, of course, cheers to Ryan Braun for his legendary career and his part in each of the 2008, 2011, and 2018 postseason runs.
Cheers to Hank Aaron and the 1957 Milwaukee Braves, who were the last team to win a World Series in the Cream City. To Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews, Joe Adcock, and World Series MVP Lew Burdette.
Cheers to the Brewers managers of yesteryear. To Harvey Kuenn, George Bamberger, Buck Rodgers, Ned Yost, Dale Sveum, Ron Roenicke, and the 14 other skippers in franchise history. And yes, cheers to Craig Counsell, who, alongside Pat Murphy, established a winning culture in Milwaukee.
Cheers to the many Brewers employees whose contributions often go unnoticed. To long-time equipment manager Jason Shawger and director of clubhouse operations Tony Migliaccio, who started with the club as a bat boy back in 1978. To Bob Kozlowski of guest relations, who has blessed thousands of Brewers fans with his amazing rendition of "God Bless America" on Sunday afternoons.
Cheers to Bud Selig for bringing baseball back to Milwaukee, and to Mark Attanasio, who purchased the team in 2005 and has overseen the most successful period of Brewers baseball.
Cheers to County Stadium, Miller Park, and American Family Field and the many memories they all hold.
Cheers to Bernie Brewer and Milt Mason, to Barrelman and the Famous Racing Sausages. Cheers to tailgating and playing catch in the parking lot. To closed-roof games in April and open-roof games in July.
Cheers to the esteemed members of the Brewers beat, who have covered the team through thick and thin.
Cheers to Bill Schroeder and Brian Anderson. To Jeff Levering, Lane Grindle, Josh Maurer, and the great Kent Sommerfeld. Cheers to Craig Coshun, Davey Nelson, Matt Vasgerian, Jim Paschke, and everyone else who has been a part of Brewers broadcasts throughout the years.
Cheers to Tailgate Tips with Jerry Garcia. Cheers to the Two-Fisted Slopper, the Miller Park Hawk, and rolling out the barrel.
Cheers to racing Corey Hart in the Miller Park Kid's Zone, to memories made at Helfaer Field, to bringing gloves to the ballpark, to hoping to see yourself on the jumbotron, to ice cream helmets, and naps on the ride home.
Cheers to my parents and grandparents and yours too, who instilled this love of Brewers baseball in us from a young age. Cheers to listening to games on the radio in the backyard, to re-enacting home runs, and mimicking batting stances.
And of course, cheers to the late, great Bob Uecker.
Cheers to the Milwaukee Brewers, World Champions at last.
