The 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) rosters were officially announced on Thursday evening. Though many players had already committed to playing the international tournament next month, several more were surprises last night.
In regard to the Milwaukee Brewers, nine players currently on the team's 40-man roster will participate in the 2026 WBC. Tyler Black and Rob Zastryzny will compete for Team Canada, Abner Uribe will represent the Dominican Republic, Joey Ortiz is a part of Team Mexico's roster, Carlos Rodriguez joins Team Nicaragua's roster for the second-consecutive WBC, Brice Turang is the Brewers' lone representative for Team USA, and Ángel Zerpa, William Contreras, and Jackson Chourio will all compete for Team Venezuela.

While it will certainly be fun to watch the current members of the Milwaukee's 40-man roster compete in the WBC, which will take place in the middle of spring training, there are numerous other Brewers connections throughout the 2026 WBC rosters.
