The Milwaukee Brewers already have one of the most exciting farm systems in all of baseball. From their numerous MLB-ready starting pitchers to top-tier talent like Jesús Made and Luis Peña to their logjam of corner infield prospects, the Brewers' future continues to look bright.

Meanwhile, last month, the Brewers added a whole new wave of talent to their stacked farm system after the team signed 17 of the 22 players that they selected in the 2025 MLB Draft. Considering how many high school players, which are more difficult to sign because they have the option of going to college and potentially raising their draft stock, the Brewers drafted, the fact that they were able to sign 17 total draft picks is incredibly impressive and speaks to how well the front office planned out their draft strategy.

From first-round slugger Andrew Fischer to high-IQ infielder Brady Ebel to the team's top pitching draft pick J.D. Thompson out of Vanderbilt University, the Brewers' front office did exceptionally well in this year’s draft. Now, after MLB Pipeline released their updated rankings of each team's Top 30 prospects to include the recent draft class, Brewers fans get to see how the newest additions to their team's minor league system stack up against the rest of the organizations' top prospects.

Andrew Fischer, the Brewers' 2025 first-round pick, becomes Milwaukee's No. 6 ranked prospect

The most notable addition to the Brewers' farm system is first-round pick Andrew Fischer, a slugging corner infielder out of the University of Tennessee. The Brewers selected Fischer with the 20th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, and he instantly became a Top 10 Brewers' prospect upon signing with the club. Slotting in at the No. 6 spot on MLB Pipeline's updated list of Brewers prospects, Fischer is behind only Made, Peña, Cooper Pratt, Jeferson Quero, and Logan Henderson. Each of those five prospects is part of MLB Pipeline's Top 100 prospects in all of baseball list, meaning Fischer just narrowly missed a Top 100 prospect designation.

Fischer also immediately becomes the Brewers’ top-ranked first-base prospect. The Brewers noted that they will try Fischer out at third base, but assuming he ends up at first, he ranks higher than fellow Milwaukee first-base prospects Luke Adams, Eric Bitonti, Tyler Black, Mike Boeve, and Blake Burke.

Other notable additions to the Brewers Top 30 prospects list include Milwaukee's second selection in the 2025 MLB Draft, Brady Ebel, who becomes the Brewers' No. 11-ranked prospect. J.D. Thompson, the Brewers’ aforementioned top pitching selection, slots in at No. 14. Daniel Dickinson, the former LSU infielder whom the Brewers drafted in the sixth round, enters the list as the Brewers' No. 23-ranked prospect, and Frank Cairone, whom the Brewers drafted with the 68th overall pick, becomes the team's No. 26-ranked prospect.

The Brewers are stacked with talent up and down their Top 30 prospects list and beyond. The recent addition of the 2025 draft class only adds to the ridiculous amount of exciting young players that the Brewers have in their organization.
