The Milwaukee Brewers TV situation has been a bit of a mess this offseason. Originally, it was thought that Diamond Sports' bankruptcy proceedings would mean that they would drop the Brewers and MLB would have to broadcast their games this season. However, an early January 2025 agreement with Diamond/FanDuel brought Milwaukee games back to cable providers as normal...at least for the moment.
With all of the back and forth as to how Brewers games would be broadcast in 2025, some fans are going to be understandably confused as to where they can get their baseball fix and the best options available to them. Fortunately, we have you covered.
How to watch the Brewers on cable in 2025
The short answer here is that if you have cable, you need the FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin to watch the vast majority of Brewers games. Formerly known as Bally before FanDuel got the rights to name the network, this should be pretty much the same broadcast that the Brewers had last season. The short version is that if you could watch Brewers games last year on cable and your cable provider hasn't made any changes, you are in good shape.
There will inevitably be a few Brewers games broadcast nationally as well. The current 2025 schedule for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball doesn't have any Milwaukee games for the moment, but that schedule expands over the course of the season and the Brewers could get featured especially if they are in contention and against another good team.
Channel | Brewers Coverage Area |
---|---|
FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin | Wisconsin, eastern Minnesota, parts of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, northwestern Illinois, Iowa |
FS1 or Fox | Nationwide (limited games) |
ESPN | Nationwide (limited games) |
TBS | Nationwide (limited games) |
How to stream the Braves without cable in 2025
For those of you that have gotten rid of cable, cordcutters still have plenty of streaming options to watch Brewers games, but there is going to be some cost associated with it. DirectTV Stream, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and Youtube TV all provide some level of access to streaming games and the Brewers in particular have the added benefit of Amazon as a new option.
While some of the existing streaming options are only really helpful if you want to watch the national or out of market broadcasts, both fuboTV and DirectTV Stream should have FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin depending on the package you get. Check for availability in your area, but those are your best bets if you plan on watching a lot of Brewers games and don't want to give your money to Amazon.
How to watch the Brewers on Amazon
Part of the Brewers' new TV agreement includes a provision where in-market Milwaukee fans will be able to stream games through Amazon. Details are scant at the moment, but the service will be an add-on subscription to Amazon Prime video. If you want to stay in the loop, just make sure you have an Amazon Prime subscription and check for updates closer to Opening Day.
How to watch the Brewers on FuboTV
Finding a cable replacement that includes local coverage is tricky, but fuboTV is a great option that will not only let you watch Milwaukee broadcasts, but give you access to 200+ channels of content from local news to some truly weird/delightful niche channels. It does cost at least $85 a month, but that is a pittance compared to the robbery that cable companies commit especially if you are into sports. There are discounts available sometimes for the first month and you can click this link to start a free trial and see if it is right for you.
