Milwaukee Brewers probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. Cincinnati Reds, August 29 - Game 2
Time for a doubleheader sweep?
It was a good start to the Milwaukee Brewers' road doubleheader against the Cincinnati Reds as they pulled off an 5-4, extra inning win. Now after a brief respite they head to the second half looking for a sweep of the day.
Probable starting pitchers
DL Hall is up from Triple-A Nashville as the 27th man to start the second game of the doubleheader for the Brewers. With five starts for the Crew on the season, he is 0-1 with a 6.43 ERA and a 2.095 WHIP. He made a spot start against the Reds earlier this month and gave up three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out a career high nine.
Rhett Lowder takes the hill for the Reds opposite Hall to make his MLB debut. The 7th overall pick in last summer's draft, the Wake Forest product has just 22 games of professional baseball experience, most of them at Double-A, and so far has a career 3.64 ERA as a minor leaguer.
