Milwaukee Brewers probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. San Francisco Giants, August 27

The Brewers return home to face the Giants for the first time in the 2024 season.

It's home sweet home for the Milwaukee Brewers but not for very long. After winning their series against the A's last weekend and earning a road split, it's back to American Family Field for a quick three-game series against the San Francisco Giants, then back on the road again.

Probable starting pitchers

Rookie Tobias Myers gets the first start of the series for the Brewers on Monday night. The 26-year-old righty is 6-5 on the season with a 2.87 ERA and 1.142 WHIP in 20 games (19 starts) on the season. He got beat up a bit in his last outing against the Cardinals, giving up six hits and five walks in just four innings, but managed to allow only two runs in that start.

He'll go up against Logan Webb, the 2024 All-Star who is having an excellent season with a 11-8 record, 3.13 ERA, and 1.193 WHIP in a league leading 27 starts and 172.2 innings pitched. He had another solid outing last week against the White Sox, giving up two runs on five hits and now walks over eight innings, though he would end up with a no decision in a 6-2 Giants loss.
