With the last pitch of the Nashville Sounds' game on Sunday, the minor league seasons officially came to an end for all of the Milwaukee Brewers' affiliates. But like previous years, it's not quite time to pack the gear away for a select group of the team's prospects.

2024's iteration of the Arizona Fall League is right around the corner and rosters were announced on Wednesday. Eight of Milwaukee's prospects will be joining the Peoria Javelinas squad this season. Let's take a look at who will be participating.

3B Brock Wilken (No. 7 Brewers prospect per MLB Pipeline)

Last year's first round pick by the Brewers, Brock Wilken had his first full year of professional baseball in 2024, all with the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers. His slash line wasn't pretty at .199/.312/.363, but he did have 15 doubles and 17 homers in 108 games and had to overcome a scary incident where he was hit in the head by a pitch in April.

OF Luis Lara (No. 16)

The 19-year-old Luis Lara spent his entire season with the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2024 after ending his season there the prior year. His slash line dipped a bit to .245/.332/.327 but he set new career highs in doubles (19), homers (4), RBIs (41), and stolen bases (45).

INF Juan Baez (No. 27)

Infielder Juan Baez, who burst on to the scene a bit in 2023, got a much bigger taste of affiliated ball in 2024 after a quick cup of coffee with the Low-A Carolina Mudcats last year. He returned to Carolina for most of this season and had a solid .271/.331/.361 slash line with them with 18 doubles, four triples, and a homer as well as 40 RBIs and 47 runs scored.

RHP Coleman Crow (No. 30)

Arizona Fall League will be the first opportunity to see pitcher Coleman Crow, who joined Milwaukee via the trade that sent long time Brewers Adrian Houser and Tyrone Taylor to the Mets. Crow missed the 2024 regular season after undergoing Tommy John surgery over a year ago but is talented enough where he is part of the team's top 30 prospects list.

RHP Ryan Birchard

Righty Ryan Birchard, the Brewers' 5th round pick in 2023, made his professional debut this season but unfortunately spent a majority of it on the injured list with an oblique injury. He managed just 10 games (nine starts) and a 6.33 ERA across 21.1 innings and will be able to use this time to get some extra innings under his belt for the year.

RHP Will Childers

Fellow right-hander Will Childers signed with the Brewers as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and spent this season playing for both Wisconsin and Carolina. He had a combined 4.15 ERA in 43 games, all out of the bullpen, for the two teams and a 9.7 K/9.

LHP Mark Manfredi

Southpaw Mark Manfredi was a ninth round pick from the 2023 draft who debuted professionally this year and played all of his games for the Timber Rattlers. He fulfilled multiple roles for the team, starting 12 of 28 games, and had a 3.91 ERA while holding opposing hitters to a .222 batting average.

RHP Nick Merkel

Former independent league pitcher Nick Merkel rounds out the Brewers contingent at Arizona Fall League. The 26-year-old hit Double-A for the first time in 2024 and was solid, with a 3.43 ERA and, 1.17 WHIP, and .206 batting average against in 40 games, mostly out of the bullpen.
