Hoffman Finally Gets Beat As White Sox Win 5-4

You knew eventually someone would get to Trevor Hoffman and yesterday that was the day. The Chicago White Sox was able to get him for a run in the ninth to come away with a 5-4 win over Milwaukee. The Brewers were just 1-5 at home against Chicago and Colorado which is not good by any stretch of the imagination.  Braden Looper pitched six innings giving up seven hits and four earned runs not really that bad at all. but no win for his effort.

Offensively the Brewers got  two home runs from Corey Hart and a solo shot from Casey McGehee who has been playing very well lately.  McGehee had four hits yesterday and it looks like he could be earning a long time spot with the Brewers if he keeps playing the way he is.  You really cannot fault Hoffman for the loss as he has pitched extremely well so far this season. Things like this happens and you just have to move on. As a whole the Brewers just need to play better.
