Brewers Can’t Solve Arroyo Lose 4-0

Bronson Arroyo was able to handcuff the Milwaukee Brewers for seven innings as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Brewers by a score of 4-0.  The Brewers did get a questionable call in the seventh inning, but only managed seven hits and had two costly errors also which hurt them.

Jeff Suppan again pitched a game he should have won. He took the loss even though he gave up three runs that were unearned. He did walk four people, but should had a better outcome. Errors and mistakes really hurt the Brewers in this game also. A umpires call in the seventh inning also hurt the Brewers as well. In the seveth inning with the bases loaded Cameron slid over the bag and was called for interference which resulted in a double play which ended any Brewer threat that they had.

Yes, the Brewers I thought did get a bad call on it, but the bottom line is the Brewers could not figure out Arroyo and that was their downfall nothing else. Toss in some errors they made and it was night they will want to forget. Today Manny Parra takes the mound and hopefully he will pitch well again and get the Brewers a win.
