In the second of our series previewing the MLB Trade deadline, we take a look the top-tier relievers the Milwaukee Brewers can target.

Pitching has been the bane of the Milwaukee Brewers’ existence so far this season.

Though their starting pitching has been far worse, the Brewers have failed to get the kind of consistent, high-end production out of their bullpen that they got just one season ago.

The Milwaukee Brewers are in desperate need of at least another shut-down late-inning guy to take the pressure off of their ace closer, Josh Hader, and bridge the gap between the starters and him. The Brewers have experimented with several internal guys to do this late in games, but so far, none have excelled consistently enough to earn that role.

Who can the Milwaukee Brewers target at the trade deadline to help them in their pen? In the next of our series previewing the MLB Trade Deadline, we’ll take a look at what top-tier relievers are likely to be on the market.

For an explainer on how I’ve come to ranking these possible targets, you can read about how I came to these evaluations here.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at what top-tier relievers are likely to be on the market this summer.
