The Milwaukee Brewers' first official full-squad workout of spring training is just three weeks away, and pitchers and catchers are set to report five days before that. However, before any of that can occur, the Brewers have to finalize which players will be participants in big-league camp this year.

The 39 players currently on the Brewers' 40-man roster are automatically invited to big-league spring training. That means top prospects like Jeferson Quero and Coleman Crow, who have yet to make their MLB debuts, will join the big-league squad down in Arizona when spring training commences next month.

Additionally, MLB teams are allowed to invite players not on their roster -- known as non-roster invitees (NRI) -- who they have signed to minor league deals earlier in the offseason. Among this group for the Brewers this year are names like Eddys Leonard, Greg Jones, and Gerson Garabito.

However, in addition to these non-roster invitees, teams will invite several of their top prospects to participate in big-league camp each spring. Though not technically a stipulation, these players tend to be highly-ranked prospects who reached either the Double-A or Triple-A level in the previous season and therefore are ready to face the big-league talent that awaits them in spring training.

Just moments ago, the Brewers announced which prospects will join the big-league squad in spring training this year, and one name included in the list is likely to give fans something to look forward to during this brutally cold stretch of the winter.

Brewers reveal that Jesús Made and several other top prospects have been invited to big-league spring training

Last Friday, 18-year-old Jesús Made was named the No. 3-ranked prospect in all of baseball by MLB Pipeline. Now, just four days later, he receives an invite to big-league spring training. The talented infielder, who blends an exciting combination of speed and power with sharp defensive skills, reached the Double-A level at the tail-end of the 2025 season. Now, Brewers fans will have the pleasure of watching Made's unique skillset as he competes alongside major league stars.

Joining Made will be fellow top-ranked prospects Jett Williams, who the Brewers just acquired from the New York Mets last week, and Cooper Pratt, the organization's No. 4-ranked prospect who is likely to start the year as the Triple-A shortstop. Luke Adams and Brock Wilken, who will likely man the corners of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds' infield at some point during the 2026 season, if not on Opening Day, have also been invited to join the big-league squad this spring.

Luis Lara, a former minor league Gold Glove winner, who is likely to take over Blake Perkins' role as the Brewers' glove-first fourth outfielder in the future, will showcase his abilities in major league spring training as well. Tate Kuehner, a southpaw who posted a 2.50 ERA in 21 starts with Biloxi Shuckers before being promoted to Triple-A last year, is a name to watch out for as well; he could be an important part of the Brewers' pitching staff in the near future. Finally, catchers Ramón Rodríguez and Matthew Wood will join the Brewers' pitchers in Arizona on February 12, as the front office continues to search for catching depth over the next few weeks.

Made is no doubt the headlining name in the group of prospects that will join the Brewers' big-league spring training in a few short weeks. His inclusion highlights the fact that the future of Brewers baseball is not quite as far as it seems. This time next year, we might be talking about Made making Milwaukee's Opening Day roster.
