Baseball fans and analysts have taken notice of the Milwaukee Brewers' famous "pitching lab" for several seasons now. Whether it be revitalizing careers like Gio Gonzales and Wade Miley, or creating new superstars in Corbin Burnes, Josh Hader, Brandon Woodruff, and Devin Williams, Milwaukee's pitching staff has been one of the talks of baseball.

When talking about the future of the Brewers pitching staff, a lot of eyes go to Jacob Misiorowski, and rightfully so. Standing at a towering 6'7, with an electric fastball and slider, it is easy to see why he is one of the Brewers top prospects. The biggest conversation piece around Misiorowski is whether the club will use him as a starter, like he was early in his career with the Brewers farm system, or in a closer role to mirror Josh Hader.

Craig Yoho's 2024 season has experts thinking he could make waves with the Brewers in 2025

Deeper down the Brewers' Top 30 prospect list is another name to know. It started with just his name catching the attention of the "Talkin' Baseball" podcast from Jomboy Media, but when you look at the tape and stats, Craig Yoho may be one of the names to know within the Brewers organization.

Yoho closed 2024 as the Brewers #21 prospect in their minor league system. As stated in the video, he has a nasty changeup, much like Devin Williams' signature Airbender. Yoho surged through the minors last year, starting in High A Wisconsin, where he spent 16 games, before being promoted to Biloxi for 18 games, and finishing the season with AAA Nashville, pitching in 14 games.

All combined, in 48 appearances, Yoho pitched 57,2 innings and allowed just 31 hits, racked up 101 strikeouts, and carried an ERA of 0.94 with just six earned runs. He may not blow you away with his fastball, but gets swings and misses on the rest of the stuff.

MLB.com is estimating that we will see Yoho this season on the Brewers big league roster. Eagle-eyed fans may also be able to catch him in spring training, as he was able to secure a non-roster invite. Whether it be Nashville or Milwaukee, you're going to want to remember the name, Craig Yoho.
