Milwaukee Brewers' top prospect Jesús Made, who was recently promoted to MLB Pipeline's No. 1 prospect in all of baseball, was on on an absolute tear at the plate during the month of May. While his .270/.320/.461 slash line was impressive, the most eye-catching statistic was his production with runners on base, as Made drove in 24 runs last month alone.
A major reason for Made's impressive RBI total was a nine-game RBI streak, during which he drove in at least one run in every contest. The streak was the longest in all of affiliated ball since Shohei Ohtani recorded a 10-game RBI streak during his NL MVP season in 2024. During those nine games, Made collected 17 of his 24 RBI for the month while also belting three home runs, including one multi-homer effort.
Thanks to his RBI explosion in May, Made has become the first player in the Southern League to reach the 40-RBI mark this season. Even more impressive, as highlighted by Biloxi Shuckers media relations and play-by-play announcer Javik Blake, he's producing runs at a pace comparable to that of former National League MVP Kris Bryant during his dominant Double-A campaign in 2014.

Jesús Made continues to separate himself with remarkable RBI production
Reaching 40 RBI in just 45 games and before the calendar even turned to June was an impressive accomplishment for Made, to say the least. To put that production into even more perspective, fellow Brewers standout Jackson Chourio did not reach the 40-RBI mark during his 2023 Double-A season until June 23.
Additionally, Chourio's highest RBI total in a single month that year was 20, a strong figure in its own right, but Made has surpassed that mark with 24 RBI this May. Those comparisons further illustrate just how exceptional Made's run-producing pace has been this season.
Made's remarkable RBI production is just the latest reminder of why he is viewed not only as the Brewers' top prospect, but also as one of the most exciting young talents in all of baseball. Driving in runs at a pace comparable to former MVPs while reaching milestones faster than even Chourio did at the same level underscores how advanced his offensive skill set is for a player his age. All this further shows that he is well on his way toward becoming the next homegrown star to emerge from Milwaukee's farm system.
