Our long nightmare without Milwaukee Brewers games that count is about to end as Opening Day is tantalizing close. On Thursday, March 27, the Brewers will get their 2025 season started with a pretty tough matchup against the Yankees in Yankee Stadium.
While the diehard Brewers fans out there have the day and time of Opening Day circled on their calendars for a long time and have made extensive plans on how to celebrate the occasion, there are going to be fans out there that need some guidance as to how to tune in. That is okay! We have you covered right here.
How to Watch Brewers' Opening Day against the Yankees
- Date: 3/27/25
- Time: 3:05 PM EST/2:05 PM EST
- Location: Yankee Stadium
- TV: ESPN
- Radio (Brewers feed): WTMJ 620
Unfortunately, Brewers fans will have to wait a bit to see the team in person at home as the home opener at American Family Field isn't until March 31 against the Royals (boy that is a pretty tough first two series of the season).
As a result, most Brewers fans are going to have to watch on TV unless you are feeling like a long road trip and some really expensive tickets at Yankee Stadium. Thankfully, facing off against the Yankees has some advantages as Milwaukee fans will be able to catch the game on ESPN at 2:05 PM local time. For the cordcutters out there, there are some streaming options available to you that you should absolutely look into.
The timing of the game is a little awkward for those that have to work on Opening Day and our condolences go out to you. However, listening to radio remains an option for those that want to follow along in real-time subversively and WTMJ 620 remains an option there. You could also listen to the Yankees' feed, but that seems pretty gross.
When the Brewers make their Opening Day roster official, the only thing left is for the games to get started. We hope this was helpful in getting you up to speed as to how to catch the game from work or home on Thursday. It's is getting real, folks. Hopefully this season starts off well and it is a sign of good times to come.
