Grading Bleacher Report's bizarre proposed trade for the Milwaukee Brewers

Final Grade for the Trade: F

I think I've made it clear how I feel about this trade. I just can't see the Brewers even considering this deal.

Mayo is a talented prospect and would help Milwaukee in positions that they need to improve in. He would be a good acquisition to the roster, but giving up your ace and second best pitching prospect would just be a silly decision to make.

The Orioles would likely bite the Brewers' hand off to get this over the line following a 101 win season. They need to improve their pitching having lost a few big pieces and so this suites them.

Overall there is not a lot to say on this proposed trade. The Brewers may want to keep tabs on Mayo and his availability as the Orioles are strong in his positions already. In terms of this package, it shouldn't be considered.
