The Milwaukee Brewers Triple-A affiliate will begin a quick five-game series on the road against the Omaha Storm Chasers (34-38) on Friday before returning home again next week.

Rocky Mountain Vibes (4-2) vs Grand Junction Rockies (2-4)

The Milwaukee Brewers Rookie League affiliate saw their four-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday as the Rockies pulled away early in handing Rocky Mountain a 13-6 loss. Grand Junction scored all 13 of their runs by the fifth inning.

Micah Bello got back to his home run-hitting ways, slugging a three-run shot to open the scoring in the first inning and give the Vibes a lead they would hold until the third when the Rockies took the lead for good. The homer was Bello’s fourth of the year.

Jose Sibrian hit his first homer of the year in the fifth, while Ernesto Martinez Jr. added a two-run shot for his first home run of the year as well to round out the scoring for the Vibes on the day. Sibrian added a single and was the only Vibes player with a multi-hit game.
