Voting for Major League Baseball's 2026 All-Star game at Citizens Bank Park is underway, with Phase 1 of fan voting concluding on June 25. This year, the Milwaukee Brewers appear well positioned to send more than three players to the Midsummer Classic -- a feat last accomplished in 2021 when RHP Corbin Burnes, RHP Freddy Peralta, RHP Brandon Woodruff, LHP Josh Hader, and C Omar Narvaez all earned All-Star honors.
While pitchers are selected through a combination of player voting and decisions made by the league office, position players depend heavily on fan voting to earn a spot in the event. The starting position players for each league are determined by two phases of fan voting. The first phase, which, as previously mentioned, closes on June 25, whittles the field down to two finalists at each position (including DH). Phase 2 determines which of those two finalists will be the starting player at each spot and, notably, vote totals from Phase 1 don't carry over.
Just yesterday, the first All-Star voting update surfaced, and with just ten days until Phase 1 voting closes, it's fair to say Brewers fans have some work to do. Of the Brewers' group of position players, just four names are currently in the top four in their respective positions' early All-Star vote totals. William Contreras is 4th among NL catchers, Brice Turang currently ranks 3rd among all NL second basemen, Jake Bauers is 4th when it comes to NL first basemen, and Christian Yelich is also 4th among NL designated hitters. Only the top two players at each position advance to Phase 2 of voting, so Brewers fans need to up the vote totals over the next 10 days.

Many Brewers have shots at being 2026 All-Stars, but early voting returns suggest more help is need from Brewers fans
Despite the discouraging first results, it's entirely possible that several of the Brewers' position players listed above end up earning spots in the Midsummer Classic. While fan voting is used to determine the All-Star Game starters, a combination of the player ballot and the Commissioner's Office selects the reserves. Therefore, even if someone like Turang misses out on the starting nine, it's likely he will end up on the All-Star roster given how deserving he truly is.
The All-Star Game pitching staffs, meanwhile, are entirely determined by player ballots and the Commissioner's Office, meaning the Brewers' arms who are deserving of spots on the roster should end up in Philadelphia this July. With the voting process in mind, let's take a look at what Brewers' should be a lock for this year's All-Star Game. This serves as the "worst case scenario," seeing as these players should earn a spot in the Midsummer Classic regardless of how voting shakes out.
Milwaukee Brewers' virtual All-Star Game locks as of June 16: RHP Jacob Misiorowski, LHP Kyle Harrison, 2B Brice Turang
As crazy as it may have seemed prior to Opening Day, it's hard to imagine Jacob Misiorowski and Kyle Harrison not both earning spots in the 2026 All-Star Game. Over the weekend, Misiorowski and Harrison padded their resumes even further by shutting out the Philadelphia Phillies, including arguably the most impressive "Maddux" of all time from Misiorowski. Together, the two allowed just four hits over 15 innings, while totaling 18 strikeouts and not walking a single batter.
Meanwhile, Turang should be considered a lock among NL second basemen. He leads the position in walks with 47, is tied for third in doubles 14 and second in RBI with 42, ranks third in home runs with 10, and sits sixth in hits with 64. When paired with his stellar defense and baserunning value, his .835 OPS makes for one of the most complete resumes at the position and should leave little doubt about his All-Star credentials.
While Miz, Harrison, and Turang feel like they should end up in the All-Star Game regardless of what happens in the voting process, the Brewers' "best-case scenario" would involve several more deserving players also earning All-Star nods this year.
Other Brewers who should be considered for the 2026 All-Star Game: LHP Aaron Ashby, 1B Jake Bauers, C William Contreras, OF Jackson Chourio, DH Christian Yelich
Ashby finished out the Phillies series with a multi-inning effort, lowering his season ERA to 2.72. He also recorded three more strikeouts, bringing his season total to 55, the second-highest mark among National League relievers. Combined with his ability to work multiple innings in high-leverage situations and his MLB-leading nine wins, Ashby has built a strong case for his first All-Star Game selection.
Of the position player group listed above, Contreras may have the strongest case. His 43 RBI rank second among all National League catchers behind Liam Hicks, and his .763 OPS is third among qualified NL backstops. However, his candidacy could be complicated by the presence of Hunter Goodman of the Colorado Rockies, whose 18 home runs stand out among NL catchers. With every team guaranteed at least one All-Star representative, Goodman may have an inside track to a roster spot even if Contreras has been the more productive overall run producer.
At first base, Bauers faces an uphill battle against a talented group that includes Matt Olson, Alec Burleson, and Bryce Harper. To separate himself from that crowd, he'll likely need a strong finish to June and continue building on what has already been a breakout campaign. Meanwhile, Chourio, despite missing the first month of the season, has surged back into the All-Star conversation by leading the National League with seven home runs in June and being named Co-NL Player of the Week (alongside Misiorowski) last week. Yelich's fourth-place rank among NL DHs has him in the conversation as well, but the starting role is almost guaranteed to go to Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Overall, the Brewers having five or more players to the All-Star Game would be an ambitious outcome, but with a little bit of luck, it's not completely out of the question. On the other hand, the Brewers should end up with a minimum of three All-Stars: Misiorowski, Harrison, and Turang. That would match the total number of representatives the club sent in both 2022 and 2025, making it a plausible floor even for one of the National League's top teams.
