For the second consecutive year, the Milwaukee Brewers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. The Brewers, who defeated the San Diego Padres in one of the more memorable NLDS matchups in recent history, will look to improve on their 2025 NLCS performance, which resulted in a four-game sweep at the hands of the mighty Dodgers.
While Dave Roberts' star-studded squad undoubtedly creates a difficult path to the Brewers' second World Series appearance in franchise history, there are several reasons to believe that Milwaukee has a better chance of knocking off the reigning back-to-back World Series Champions. Be sure to check out the article linked below for an in-depth discussion of why the Brewers are better equipped for success in this year's NLCS than they were a season ago.
3 reasons to believe this year's Brewers-Dodgers NLCS matchup will end differently than last year's
One of the key differences between the Brewers' 2025 postseason run and their 2026 playoff journey thus far is the fact that Pat Murphy's squad knocked out the Padres in four games, whereas last year's victory over the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS took five games. As a result, after having just one off-day between their emotional series against the Cubs and their matchup with the Dodgers last year, the Brewers will have three days off in between the NLDS and NLCS this year. Here's a full schedule, complete with broadcast details for the Brewers and Dodgers' NLCS rematch, which begins on Sunday night.

Brewers fans should be able to access NLCS games the same way that they accessed the NLDS games, seeing as both series are being produced by FOX. Cable users should check to make sure FS1 is included in their specific package, as should those who use YouTube TV and fubo. FOX One is FOX's new streaming service that will carry all of the NLCS games and is available for $19.99/month with the option for a three-day free trial.
Presumably, the Brewers will also host watch parties for the games that will be played at Dodger Stadium, just as they did for the away games during the NLDS. Said watch parties took place at the new UW Credit Union Plaza at American Family Field. More information on a similar event for the NLCS should be released in the coming days.
