It's a problem that few players ever have to deal with. As the Brewers were closing in on clinching the NL Central, people started to wonder how 20 year old superstar Jackson Chourio would celebrate, seeing as he's not of legal drinking age.

Would he celebrate with alcohol anyway in front of all the cameras that are there for a playoff clinching celebration? Would he just not drink? How would his teammates help him celebrate?

All those questions were answered as everyone entered the locker room. The Brewers had something much funnier planned for their young superstar.

A baby stroller. Filled with non-alcoholic beer and non-alcoholic champagne.

It is the perfect encapsulation of this team. They're young, they have fun, they joke around, and Chourio ends up getting this special treat to show just how young he is even among such a young team.

By the time next year rolls around, Chourio will be able to participate fully in the alcoholic celebration without worry about legal ramifications. But the Brewers are hoping to have several more champagne showers before Chourio turns 21 next April. Should the Brewers advance in the playoffs and have more celebrations this October, it's likely that the stroller will make a return to the clubhouse for the young Chourio.

Chourio has played such a big role on this team all season long and he was a major factor in Wednesday night's win to go into the celebration happy. He roped a triple down into the right field corner to lead off the bottom of the 9th. Instantly the winning run was 90 feet away. It took a few batters before Jake Bauers finally got a base hit to drive Chourio home and end the game. Chourio also made a nice play running in on a knuckling, sinking liner that an early season version of Chourio may not have made.

His growth this season on the field has been tremendous and a big reason why the Brewers were the first team to clinch a playoff spot in 2024. However, even with all that growth, his teammates are letting him know that he's not fully grown yet and still needs a stroller every now and then.

It remains a mystery just where the idea for the stroller came from. Reviewing the Brew asked several Brewers players who had the idea and none knew. What we do know is the Milwaukee Brewers are 2024 NL Central champions and Jackson Chourio is a major reason why.
